Quarterly Prayer Concerts of Prayer have a long and effective history in student ministry for getting students into prayer. They can take many forms as seen in the following resources but usually have a portion in which prayer is focused on students bringing their peers to Christ and influencing their peers in other ways for Christ.

1/4 to 1/2 Hour
Individual students and youth workers spending time daily with the Lord in prayer and in the reading of His Word, so as to yield themselves fully to the control and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.
1/4 to 1 Hour
Each youth group setting aside a time for worship and prayers of praise to God.
1 to 1 1/2 Hours
Small group prayer for humblness before God by incorperating disciplines like fasting with special emphasis on their church and youth group.
1 to 2 Hours
Individual youth groups involved in concerts of prayer focused on their spheres of influence and neighbors.
2 to 3 Hours
Youth groups from various churches praying together for each other's ministry, their neighborhoods, the nation, and the world through twice a year assembling in multi-church prayer events like SYATP in the fall and National Day of Prayer in May.
