Ministry Prayer Requests:

Please be in prayer for all the ministries of the EFCA as we end 2007.  Pray that God would provide for all the financial needs of the EFCA ministries.

REACHGLOBAL

  • Serious health concern: Please continue to pray for ReachGlobal's Executive Director, who is hospitalized in critical condition with pulmonary issues and an infection. Pray for healing and for the peace of the Lord for him and his family.
  • January regional conferences: Pray for the preparations taking place for the two ReachGlobal area conferences being held the week of January 2-8: the Europe Area Conference in Hungary, and the Pacific Asia Conference in the Philippines. Pray that the Lord would guide these meetings, conversations and times of refreshment.
  • Christmas at Kid's Club: Pray for divine opportunities to share the real meaning of Christmas as Claudia, one of the ReachGlobal staff in Tanzania, uses fun activities, narration of the gospel and building relationships with the children in Kid's Club.  Please pray that God's Light and Truth will shine and touch their hearts during this special season. 
  • Spiritual oppression in North Central Asia: Our ReachGlobal personnel serving in a creative access context write, "There are periods of time when spiritual oppression seems extra heavy and unsettling here, and we sense a strong need for added prayer. Such is our need now. Please pray for the young group of believers, for their personal relationship with Christ and for their impact in their community."
  • Across West Europe: From Amsterdam to Zaragoza, ReachGlobal's 12 city teams and 32 missionary families in West Europe are enjoying special events in their cities, with their church communities, in their homes, and with their families. Please pray that each family will be encouraged, filled with hope and love and sharing it with those they come in contact.

URBAN & INTERCULTURAL MISSION  and NATIONAL MINISTRIES

  • ReachNational: Beginning in January, the UIM and National Ministries will unite into a new department called ReachNational. Please pray for both these teams as they unite to glorify God by multiplying healthy churches among all people. Pray for Fritz Dale as he gives leadership to this new department.  Pray for united hearts and effective strategies to reach the United States with the gospel of Christ.
    Challenge 2008: Registration for Challenge 2008 opens on January 7th. Pray for the churches and youth groups who are planning on attending - and for God to bring new groups. Pray for the planning efforts for this strategic and exciting conference.
