Recovery ChurchesMany different circumstances can lead to a decision to leave the ministry for a time. The EFCA Pastoral Care Ministries has recruited and trained a network of Recovery Churches ready to provide a coordinated effort to bring healing to anyone who feels wounded in the process. Each recovery church has identified a team of caring individuals to welcome and care for the pastoral family in need of help.The Recovery Church process involves 3 phases: Relocation: a time of assisting with the immediate crisis and relocation. Recovery: an extended time of healing and helping life to return to normal. Redirection: a time of reconnecting to ministry while seeking God's future direction.
