FairShare
FairShare is an interdependent partnership between local EFCA churches, district, national and international ministries. Each EFCA church contributes - just 1% - to help fund national and international ministries, plus the percentage the local district requests to fund its ministry budget. These small contributions add up to great accomplishments for the kingdom. The annual ministry reports in the pocket describe what God has done in our midst this past year and share the focus of our prayers for the coming year. Better together, we accomplish far more than any one of us can do alone.
Why 1%?
It only takes everyone contributing a little to have a huge impact on our world. It’s just 1%. It’s fair for everyone. Whether your church is a new church plant with a handful of people, or a huge congregation with thousands of members, it’s still just 1%.
Does it really make a difference?
Yes. FairShare funding has allowed us to make major ministry impacts across the country and around the world. As you read through the ministry reports, you’ll celebrate the kingdom impacts of this past year and catch a vision for how future contributions can set the stage for God to work in and through us next year.
What if all EFCA churches contributed just 1%?
You’ll see in the ministry reports just how big a difference 1% would make. There are several key ministries our movement would add or expand if every EFCA church invested just 1%.
What are the benefits to our church?
FairShare dollars fund specific ministry projects to help our movement, our districts, and your local church. As a part of the EFCA, your church is stronger when our movement is stronger. FairShare allows us all to continue to grow and expand the work the EFCA is doing to bring people to Christ.
