The Congregational Church in Wilmington is an Evangelical Free Church in Wilmington, MA.  We are seeking a part-time Music Director to play piano and organ, to direct the choir at one weekly Sunday service, choir practice one night a week, and special services including Christmas and Easter. 

Requirements:

 A Christian who is gifted in music and able to lead people in the presence of God.

 Proficiency in piano and organ.

Experience with worship music both traditional and contemporary styles.

Experience with choral teaching and conducting.

Willingness to work with the Music committee and Pastor.

Effective organization and communication skills.

Duties:

1 Sunday morning service.

 Adult Choir practice before service and one night per week.

Submit reports and attend Music Committee meetings as needed.

Select and perform appropriate music for worship.

Coordinate musicians from the Congregation and outside sources.

Possible special services such as memorial service and weddings.

Salary:  We are a relatively small church and can offer $12,500 per year.
