    David Viland (david.viland@efca.org)
    Consultant

David has been involved in fund raising for over 20 years, in campaigns from $25,000 - $4.5 million, both in not-for-profit organizations and churches. One of David's passions is to see the local church vibrant in its mission as a result of healthy, biblically based leadership and governance. David first worked with MCS in 2001 and joined the staff in 2006. He has served as Church Administrator/Executive Pastor of Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Fargo, ND. While there he led the church through a large capital campaign, a major building & ministry expansion program, and an operational reorganization. The campaign was officially a $3 million dollar campaign that grew to $4.5 million in the second phase.

As Senior Consultant for Ministry Campaign Services, David facilitates strategic planning sessions, provides church governance training, and conducts/teaches the DiSC and Uniquely You spiritual gifts and personality profile instruments. He has a varied background of health care management, church administration and leadership in churches from 50-2,500.
